Confirmation!
I am having my confirmation in July! Wow! I really wish I could have a Latin mass. My confirmation names are going to be: Catherin and Agnes. So my full name will be: Vellvin Faine Agnes, Catherin Onions. Big mouthful isn't it! Well I will have to do a lot of work on my confirmation before I'm ready! I will be having it with Saxon and Eden. And Rogan will be having his first communion I think it's the evening before. This is a picture of Saint Catherin of Seina And this is a picture of Saint Agnes.
I hope I will understand all of my confirmation preparation.
God Bless

ReplyDeleteThose are both great saints!
Your name will be quite a mouthful!
Do you choose two confirmation saints in Australia or did you just choose two?
Your names almost as long as mine! Seriously!! mine is: Monica Rose Maria Soledad Torres Acost G. :-)
I hope you have a GREAT confirmation!!!
Love,
Monica.

Why do you have to have a conformation???
ReplyDeleteI was reading the comments, and I couldn't help but want to answer Annie
ReplyDeleteAnnie,
Confirmation is something Catholics do, it: (and if I may quote from a site)
http://www.fisheaters.com
' * indelibly seals us to the Holy Ghost, hence its name, "Sacrament of the Seal." Because this seal is indelible and leaves a permanent mark on the recipient's soul, the Sacrament, like Baptism and Holy Orders, may be received only once.
* gives us the sanctifying grace to become perfect Christians and true soldiers of Christ, well-armed to defend Christ as King, His Mother as Queen, and the Church Militant as His Kingdom on earth. God confirms us (strengthens us) so we may do spiritual battle.
* imparts to us the 7 Gifts of the Holy Ghost, as in a "personal Pentecost":
o Wisdom
o Understanding
o Counsel
o Fortitude
o Knowledge
o Piety
o Fear of the Lord '
I had mine early(12), or at least our my diocese.
I hope that answers your question Annie!
