Finished!!!!!!!

Yeseeeeeeeee! I finished Inkdeath in 5 days! and Inkspell in 5 as well. The best book out of the 3 I think was definitely Inkdeath! My fav characters were: Dustfinger, Meggie, Mo, Doria, Fenglio, Resa, Roxane and Violante. So my absolute fav characters out of all the books are:
Dustfinger,

Meggie, Fenglio, Doria and Elinor. These are absolute totally awesome books! Am I going into an Inkheart trilogy faze? Well maybe a little. :D Anyway if you haven't read them you should really! There are a few bad words especially in Inkdeath. But other than that pretty much nothing except the Nightmare freaked me out!!!!!!!!!!! you probably don't want to read these plot summary's if you want to read them soon. I really don't like Elinor out of the movie how she looks. I imagine her a little different and Farid a lot different. But all of this means I want to watch
Inkheart the movie. Now I defiantly think I'm going into a faze!

The Plot for Inkheart:
Mortimer (Mo) Folchart is a bookbinder and has the rare gift of reading things and characters out and into books while reading aloud; however, he does not have control over what goes in or out. One night, he read a book called Inkheart to his wife, Teresa. Mo accidentally read Resa into Inkheart and read characters out of Inkheart (Capricorn, Basta, Dustfinger, and his pet marten, Gwin).

Nine years later, Dustfinger comes to their estate and Meggie tells Mo that there is a man standing outside their home. She is confused when this "strange man" starts calling her father "Silvertongue". Mo tells Meggie to go to bed and he and Dustfinger go into Mo's study. Meggie spies on them and hears Dustfinger warning Mo that Capricorn's men are coming for him and the book, Inkheart, although she has no idea what they are talking about. Mo, who is too smart for her, comes upstairs and tells her to stick out her feet which are still cold (This proves that she was eavesdropping on her father, since the ground is cold).

The next morning, Meggie is woken up by her father. He tells her that they were going to see her aunt Elinor, her mother's aunt. Elinor doesn't like children much but Mo told her that she and her aunt would get along well because she too has a vast love of books. After breakfast, Meggie goes into her room to pack a few books to bring with her and discovers Inkheart, the book in brown paper binding her father refused to talk about. When Meggie grows irritated that her father insisted on keeping her in the dark, Dustfinger describes Capricorn as an evil sadist.

One night, Dustfinger persuades Elinor to turn off her burglar alarm so that he can show Meggie his fire eating skills. That same night, Mo and a book are kidnapped by Capricorn's men (including Basta) who take Mo to Capricorn's village, a little town in Italy. Meggie becomes furious when she discovers that Elinor stole the real book just to browse through it and now Mo has been captured with the wrong one. Dustfinger then takes Elinor, Meggie and the real book to Capricorn's village. They arrive and meet Basta for the first time and Capricorn's mother Mortola. Just after their arrival, Meggie realizes that Dustfinger had told Capricorn of their whereabouts and feels instant hatred for trusting him.

Capricorn wants Mo to read out treasure from books. While reading, Mo accidentally reads out a young boy called Farid from the book One Thousand and One Nights. Meanwhile, Dustfinger rescues Mo, Elinor, Meggie and Farid. Farid develops a liking for Meggie.

Now that they have escaped, Elinor tracks down the author of Inkheart (Fenoglio) for Mo, who wants to see if he has any more copies of it. However, Fenoglio doesn't have a copy, his only copy was stolen. He is very interested to hear about Dustfinger, and lets say that he killed him off. Meggie is horrified.

Elinor returns home to her house only to find none of her books on their shelves; they are all trampled on the floor. She finds no books in her library at all, only a stone-dead rooster hanging from the ceiling: Capricorn's mark. She looks out of the single open window and finds a pile of ashes, the humble remains of her most prized books. After going outside, she falls to her knees and weeps.

Meanwhile, Mo goes shopping and Meggie and Fenoglio are accidentally betrayed by Pippo (Fenoglio's eldest grandson, renowned for picking the chocolate chips out of cakes) and captured by Basta and Flatnose.

As prisoner, Meggie soon discovers that she has the same gift of reading characters out of books. She finds out while reading Peter Pan, one of the books Darius (formerly Capricorn's reader, also known as the Stammerer by Basta) had left behind. Basta finds out when he sees Tinkerbell and Capricorn decides to make her read out his assassin Shadow.

Mo, Elinor, Farid and Dustfinger try to save Meggie. Meggie meanwhile finds a mute maid of Mortola's called Resa who she believes is her mother. She was read out by Darius.

With the help of Fenoglio, Meggie reads out the Shadow and makes him kill Capricorn and most of his men, excluding Basta. However, unfortunately because of the exchanging rule, Fenoglio is read into Inkheart in place of the Shadow. Basta and Mortola escape.

In the end, Dustfinger disappears with Farid and the only copy of Inkheart left, in search of someone to read him back

The Plot for Inkspell:
A year has passed, but not a day goes by without Meggie thinking of Inkheart, a book whose characters, Capricorn, Basta, and Dustfinger, came to life. Resa is back, but she has no voice. For the fire-eater Dustfinger, the need to return to the tale has become desperate. When he finds a crooked storyteller ,Orpheus, to read him back, he abandons his apprentice Farid, and plunges into the pages. Orpheus doesn't read Farid back into the book like he was supposed to, he leaves the three words "and the boy" out. Soon Farid convinces Meggie to read him into the book so he can warn Dustfinger of Basta, and then become his apprentice once more. But this time, Meggie has figured out how to read herself and Farid into Inkheart. Fenoglio was still in inkheart.

Suddenly, Mortola, Basta, Orpheus, and a "man built like a wardrobe" barge into Elinor's house, and take Mortimer, Resa, Elinor, and Darius prisoner, while Meggie and Farid have no idea what is happening in the other world. Orpheus reads Basta, Mortola, and Mortimer (Mo) into "Inkheart", but Resa comes with them by accident. Mortola gets her hands on a modern rifle, and shoots Mortimer. Resa discovers that her voice has come back to her. Resa and Mo are hiding with the strolling players, but now they have discovered that the injured Mo is the mysterious gentleman-robber, the "Bluejay", created by Fenoglio's words. Fenoglio is now living within his own story and he makes Meggie read Cosimo the Fair back into the story since he died. Now the Adderhead is out to get him, and he is itching to hang him, or kill his family in front of him.

Mo and Resa are captured, and Mo is unable to escape because of his fatal wound. Meggie, Resa, and Mo all end up in the Adderhead's castle (the castle of night), while Meggie has made a bargain with the Adderhead that he will bind him a book of immortality if he lets Meggie, Resa, Mo, and the rest of the strolling players he has captured go free. What he neglects to tell the prince is that if three words are written in the book (heart, spell, death) the Adderhead will die instantly, referencing the titles of the books. However, Mortola finds out about it and Firefox is chosen to test the book. Firefox is made immortal, but then Taddeo, the Adderhead's librarian, kills him by writing the three words in the book. The words are all erased and replaced by the Adderhead's name, consequently making the Adderhead invincible.[citation needed]

In the meanwhile, Farid and Dustfinger have sneaked into the castle using soot that causes invisibility, created by a communion of fire and water. Meggie and Farid fall in love after events in the Inkworld. After Mo finishes binding the book, the Adderhead keeps his word, but sends his soldiers and Basta to kill the prisoners afterwards.

Farid is killed by Basta out of malice towards Dustfinger, and then Mo kills him. Later, Dustfinger summons the White Women to bring Farid to life, sacrificing himself. Farid comes back to life and Meggie reads Orpheus into the story using Fenoglio's words, although Orpheus refuses to admit that she read him into the book. Farid agrees to work for Orpheus as a servant if he writes something to bring Dustfinger back, but Farid wonders if Orpheus will live up to the agreement and if Dustfinger will ever come back

The Plot for Inkdeath:
Inkdeath picks up with the now immortal, but slowly decaying evil Adderhead ruler of the southern part of the inkworld, his brother-in-law the Milksop king of Ombra, and his trusty right hand man The Piper ruling over the small village of Ombra, setting harsher taxes and looting what they can from the villages. Fenoglio, Despina, Ivo, and the three Folcharts with an unborn Folchart child reside at a peaceful abandoned farm that has fortunately long been forgetten by others. Farid, who has given up his fire after the death of Dustfinger, works for an increasingly wealthy Orpheus, who treats him like a slave while promising to read a dead Dustfinger back to life. Fenoglio, the author, gives up writing at the beginning of the book and grows increasingly drunken and senile and is immensely annoyed at how Orpheus is changing Inkworld and asking his never ending questions about the 'White women'. Ombra is under constant threat by the Adderhead's men, who have killed nearly every young adult male in the city, and regularly kidnap children to work them in the mines. The only figure standing in their way is the romanticized "Bluejay", a thief created by Fenoglio in a series of songs that was inspired by Mo who is now "stuck" as the "Bluejay" and is in as much trouble as ever.

Mo finds himself enjoying the Bluejay role, and has no intention of leaving Inkworld despite Meggie's and Resa's urgings. Meggie finds herself increasingly distanced from Farid, and drawn to another young man named Doria, a member of the Black Prince's robber camp. The plot picks up when several children are kidnapped by The Piper and taken to the mines where they will surely die. Mo, now known almost exclusively as the Bluejay, cannot accept this, and frees them by giving himself up in exchange. He discovers that the Adderhead's daughter, Violante, known as Her Ugliness, wishes to take his side in the matter. She gets him back safely to the robber's camp, while keeping her allegiance a secret from The Piper and her young son, Jacopo. The Piper is sent to follow after the children, however. The Milksop goes after the group of robbers but Fenoglio saved them by writing giant human nests up in the trees.

Meanwhile, Orpheus, who has been tediously changing the story, succeeds in calling a meeting of the robber camp to get the Bluejay to bring Dustfinger back to life, and die in the process. Mo agrees, and summons the White women, who bring him to the world of the dead for what turns out to be three days. During this time, Meggie believes her father is dead and becomes furious with both Farid and her mother, Resa. In the world of the dead, Mo meets Death itself, who makes a bargain with Mo: Death will release Dustfinger from her grasp and Mo as well, as long as Mo finishes what he started, and writes the three words in the White Book, the book that makes the Adderhead immortal. If he does not succeed, She will take him, Dustfinger, and Meggie, as she was partially involved in the binding of The White Book. He awakens from the world of death, bringing Dustfinger with him. They are now both nearly fearless, Dustfinger is now scarless, and they are both inseparable from each other.

Mo, goes off in secret with Dustfinger, Violante, and her legion of child soldiers to the castle in the lake, where the white book is kept. In the meantime, Orpheus has put himself in the service of the Adderhead, in the hopes of picking the winning team but doesn't because Mo/Bluejay/Silvertounge had a few tricks up his sleve. He is also plagued by visits from a now insane Mortola, who still works for the return of her dead son, Capricorn. Orpheus uses his powers to spy on the robber camp, and sends The Piper after them. The Bluejay and Dustfinger face difficulty at the castle, and their plans go awry. Mo, Dustfinger, and Dustfinger's daughter, Brianna, are all eventually imprisoned. For Brianna's sake, Dustfinger momentarily betrays Mo. At this point, Resa arrives in the form of a Swift, saves Mo from going insane, and restates Dustfinger's allegiance. Resa and Dustfinger search for The White Book unsuccessfully while the Bluejay, who has been captured again by the Piper, works on creating a new white book for the Adderhead. Jacopo betrays his grandfather, the Adderhead, by giving Mo the original white book so that he is able to write the three words, thus killing the Adderhead.

Inkdeath concludes as Orpheus, finding himself on the losing end, flees to the north mountains, Fenoglio is writing again, Farid decides to go travelling with his regained power of fire who asked if Meggie would join him, Meggie, now in love with Doria, bids Farid farewell and good luck, and later marries Doria just as Fenoglio's pre written story had said. Violante, now known as Her Kindliness, becomes ruler of Ombra, and a new Folchart, a boy, is born into Inkworld, longing for the world that his parents and sister were born in: longing for the mechanical horse-less carriages, and the bright lights.

Look what I finished reading this morning. :D Inkspell. It was a great book awesomer than Inkheart!
Fav Characters? The Black Prince (definitely)! Dustfinger, Meggie, Farid, Fenglio and Darius. This was a great book and the end? Shocking!!!!!!!!! Absolutely shocking and sad. At least Mo has sword now. :D I have already started Inkdeath and have liked it so far very much. Maybe I'll do a review latter once I've finished reading them. :D I don't think I could choose which I like better between Castaways of the Flying Dutchman or The Inkheart trilogy! I'd probably say right nowt hat I like the Inkheart trilogy better but I'm sure that if I read them both at once I couldn't choose.
The others left today on the Spirit to go to the Mainland. Corby was crying his eyes out and Myffy was looking very sad. I'd better go now my eyes are getting tired. Goodnight everyone, XXXXOOOOOO

Update!!!!!!!!

 Hi guys,
Guess what I've got come on guess! Okay I'll tell you:
A Flippin' Cold!
Anyway everyone seems to be catching it except for some lucky ducks! The 4 older kids are going on a pilgrimage which starts on Saturday ( I think). Anyway Mummy and Daddy bought ALL of the star wars movies (except RotS). Mummy says that they are for Mine and Saxon's birthday presents. But I wonder "Hey Saxon you want the old trilogy? Cuz I want the new trilogy." But we'll have to wait until our birthdays. My birthday is actually pretty soon 16th of November and I'm very excited.
On Friday I"m going to the doctors with Mummy to see if/when I can get my other mole removed.
While the others are gone we plan to watch all the star wars movies which we have plus as our school work we'll only do star wars related and Christmas presents.
I've also started making Christmas presents I've completed 5 out of 15 not a lot I know.
After the pilgrimage a dear friend will be coming to stay for a few weeks!!!!
I just finished reading Inkheart! By Cornelia Funke it was great other than the swear words which Elinor says and I am now reading Inkspell (which I think) is even better than the first. I would have to say that my fav characters are: Meggie, Farid, Elinor Darius, Dustfinger and Fenglio all from the book. I watched the movie before then and liked Farid and Capricorn.
Oh! And could you all pray that Braedon goes well with his driving test today? Please could you?
