Answering a question......

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't posted, first off I hope everyone had a happy and holy Christmas!
I stole this picture from Una Mariah's blog. Petticoats and Muckboots. Only a few more days till season 3!
The reason for not posting? Well, first being really busy, then catching a stomach bug on the day before Christmas Eve (no pressure of course. :P ) and then recovering, going to midnight Latin Mass which, though I am sure was very beautiful I was pretty tired off after a while not to mention though there were fans on I was hot and very tired as I hadn't got hardly any sleep before we had to get ready. Then after we got home, we had our Christmas photo, I was a bit grouchy and still feeling really tired and still recovering from the bug. We had our Midnight feast, put our bags out and then I tried to get to sleep. At 3 o'clock in the morning, and I didn't sleep well. After being sick I confess the only reason I haven't blogged is because I've been enjoying being lazy, and slowing down. But I DID see the Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug yesterday and I WILL be working on a post about what I thought of it. Suffice to say for the moment I am proud of my title of 'Vellvin da Elven' after seeing it. I feel so cool. :D

NOTE: I would not recommend people under the age of fifteen reading this unless it had been pre-read by someone who you trust (like a parent) for instance. I just like to add this to any post which deals with any of these issues as it's better safe than sorry. And I do not mean to offend anyone, if you don't want to read it, then don't. But it is my site, and it is my right, too.

On to the meat of the matter. I had this huge (and I mean huge) blog post and it was suppose to be a broken up into sections. Abortion, Homosexuality, Euthanasia, Contraception, Un-married couples living with each other and possibly divorce. But I have decided instead that I wanted to post one of the sections that I have completed. That being the Homosexuality section.

Now, do you all remember my blog post on going to the walk for True Marriage? Well, I got this really weird comment from an anonymous person called 'D' great name by the way. :P And this is what it said:

Hey there. I'm a 14-year-old girl who just came across your blog. I'm also openly gay, and reading this post made me interested in hearing just why you hold these views about me and my people. Keep in mind that I'm not trying to be confrontational at all, I just really want to have a conversation with someone who thinks like you do. Have you ever thought about *why* gay people are supposedly wrong? Like, what is it about loving the same gender that is so horrible and disgusting? You say that you're against same-gender marriage. Do you think a gay person like me should just never find commitment, or do you just think we should never find love at all? I'm also interested in hearing what you would do if a close friend or relative of yours came out as gay, bi or transgender. Would you reject them, or...? It just honestly confuses me how someone my own age, or really, anyone, could hold these views. I don't think anyone is naturally inclined to despise gay people, I believe homophobia is a

That's what it said and I was very ready to write an answer back but instead I've added it into this blog post seeing as this is what I am writing about. Also, this was from an anonymous commenter whom I'd never heard of before, who knew nothing about me, and wasn't even necessarily a fourteen-year-old girl, and if so, it looks like she's been brainwashed. And maybe, if 'D' is reading this, she may get an insight of why it is wrong, and what it is that such ludicrous ideas do to people.

Homosexuality. Okay, so a few years back, I found out that people of the same gender thought they could marry each other! I didn't think that much of the matter until probably this year, where this thing, that people like to call 'gay marriage' even though it is clearly not marriage and its proper disgusting-throwing-up-worthy-term is actually Homosexuality. Yep, that's its actual term, and don't sugar-coat its name, because its not marriage. Marriage is between a Man and a Woman. You can be best friends with another girl or guy, you can still be friends with people of the same gender. You can still love them with a brotherly or sisterly love. But you cannot MARRY THEM!!! Or think you can! You cannot have the same love as a husband and wife share.
St. Joseph.
See this guy here. His name is St. Joseph. He was the foster father of Jesus, and head of the Holy Family. He is also patron of families. And you know what. Homosexuality is like, the destroyer of families. It's wrong, its immoral, and its just plain stupid. What morons people are if they think that they can do something like that! And no, its not a trend, so don't go saying 'it's the latest trend' either. And don't refer to honest-to-goodness-marriage as 'traditional marriage' either, as that makes you sound like you think that Homosexuality IS marriage, whereas it is not. Marriage is between a Man and a Woman. And that ain't ever gonna change. I was thinking the other day about The Princess Bride and about the old King who says 'won't that be nice' when Buttercup kisses him and then tells him how she is going to kill herself. WE CAN'T ACT LIKE THAT! We can't be all 'Oh it'll be alright, it's their life after all.' Because these are like the sheep without a shepherd. We can't be indifferent, we can't just stand by and let things like that happen! Because then we are no better than they are. We are accepting that it is okay, then. Because we have not stood up and told the world what we think. Okay, world, so wanna tell you something
True story. You will never ever change this!

And it's the truth.
The people I know, I see the great examples and the example that my Mother and Father have given me all the days of my life, a true marriage is one where you help each other, give counsel to each other, and love each other. It's not perfect, (most certainly not) but it IS marriage. And funny story, that's because their is a father and a mother. :)
Portrait: 12.12.2013 AUSTRALIA HIGH COURT, NO to same sex 'marriage'

Our constitution today protected motherhood, childhood and family.
Our marriage laws are equal and not discriminatory;
because it applies equally to gay and heterosexual people,
as every Australian is free to marry a member of the opposite sex.

Australia Supporting Traditional Marriage
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oy! Oy! Oy!
My Mum and Dad have been married for more than twenty-five years (awesome right? :) ) and Mum wrote a blog post on it as well if you are interested. http://cherishedheartsathome.blogspot.com.au/2012/05/what-is-marriage.html And that's what marriage is. And also, if you have parent number one and parent number two not a Mum and a Dad, how can you create new life? The answer is, you can't. And then having children which is one of the things that a husband and wife have to be opened to before they are married when they are preparing marriage is that this is one of the most important rules of marriage. Openness to children. It is actually a requirement and if you say no (at least in the Catholic Church) you can't get married and it's not marriage then. So, therefore, don't go calling it 'gay marriage' because it lacks the depth, the truth, and the meaning of what real marriage is.  Also you can't create a human life. And if you adopt a child, what if it is a boy and he has two Mums how he is suppose to learn how to be a man? He can't that's the answer, and vice versa, this affect CHILDREN more than anything else, this selfish, stupid, immoral idea. So stop being selfish, think about what if it was you, and please, realise that it is wrong.

Ever time I listen to this song, I cry. This is what TRUE COMMITMENT IS!
So who's in for telling the world what we think? Because every little bit helps, prayer the most out of anything, though we might not see that as doing very much.

St. Joseph patron of families, protector of the Church, Pray for us! Lord Jesus, watch over us, help us to be peacemakers, and to love our neighbours always. No matter what they believe!

God Bless

  3. Vellvin,
I admire that you are SO passionate about your beliefs!
If I were you, though, I wouldn't have said that homosexuality is "wrong, immoral, and just plain stupid." The majority of homosexual people don't choose to be that way: it's a great trial for them. Since no one can be forced to sin, homosexual tendencies are not necessarily sinful: homosexual acts are.
I'm sure this is how you meant it, but it does come across differently.

    1. Hey MAS,
Haven't heard from you in a while.
Yes, I do understand that, it just the idea I just can't get it through my head how people can think that it is right, when it is wrong, and I just think that a lot of people don't 'think' about it, or the consequences or what it actually means, that is what I deem stupid.
I know that we all go through trials and I know the difference between tendencies and acts.
I hope that clears it up a bit. :)

      God Bless,
      Vellvin.

  4. No, I figured you meant it that way, it just looked different in writing. It's kind of funny, because I've been reading this book by Judie Brown and she writes with the same passion as you do, and I keep feeling like I'm reading one of your posts. Judie Brown, in case you don't know, is a great Catholic and a co-founder of the American Life League.

Oh no. I just looked her up to make sure I spelled the name right and found on her website that Belgium is actually going to make it legal to euthanize kids, and this time it isn't just babies. They're actually going to let doctors kill children who are in constant pain, with parental approval, of course! (the child has to sign off on it too, so now it's not even assisted suicide, it's children literally signing their own death warrants.) What kind of barbarians are running this mess?!

P.S. I'm a ghooost! boo! :) It has been a while since I last commented, hasn't it? I always enjoy your posts, I just never think of commenting, somehow.

    1. I've never heard of her. What is her website? I just like to blog about this stuff because it means I am doing more than just saying that it's wrong, and who know, maybe someone who read this actually thought seriously about it. :)

I heard about that. They seemed bent on killing kids even without parents' consent, and plsu, they have no idea what would happen in a few weeks or months, they just see them as chores! It makes me so mad!

I'm glad you enjoy them, though you haven't commented in a while, it's nice to know that you enjoy reading them! :)

      God Bless,
      Vellvin.
