Dear Thomas....Thank you for being such an awesome, relatable character. You stand up for what you believe in, you're kind and forgive even though the person might have done something like kill one of your best friends. You know it wasn't his fault.You are my second favourite after all. Thank you.

Dear Teresa......I don't understand you that much at all, to be honest. I think I liked you best in the first book. After that I began to feel a little like Thomas, resentful towards you. What you did however in the end showed that no matter how strange a character you might have seemed, you still possessed the knack to be a hero.

Dear Minho...seriously you made me laugh sometimes! Your sarcastic snarky comments would probably in real life make me find you more than a little irritating. You are a product of your background, and being stuck in the Glade for an extended period of time certainly can make you like that. Thanks for sticking up for Thomas. Oh! And what you did to Jorge in Scorch Trials? I totally loved that. :D

Dear Brenda.....I liked you a lot. Thank you for not disappointing me in book three when I was confused about your intentions. Your relationship with Jorge I really enjoyed also. Oh, and Thomas totally deserved you. :)

Dear Chuck.....Oh my gosh, Chuck, you are so adorable!!! Thank you for being there when Thomas didn't seem to have any friends whatsoever. Thank you for helping him along, and being his friend. Thank you for being just so adorable and cute, even when you're trying to act tough. Thanks for playing that trick on Gally.

Dear Newt....Okay,,,,,I'm already feeling a little melancholy. Seriously Newt, you are my all-time favourite out of the entire trilogy. I loved it how you were the only one who called Thomas 'Tommy'. Though pretty much every sentence you said I had to edit out a word as I went along, I still loved you. I loved the fact that you were the glue, it made so much sense. I loved it how you, Thomas and Minho were together at the start of book three taking a stand, you guys had me laughing. :) I really hate the Flare just in case you were wondering! I guess I should have seen the signs, you're my favourite character, your're blonde, and that usually means for guy characters that I like, that you die. You did not disappoint on that score.

Dear Aris, as a secondary character I liked you, but then you teamed up with Teresa and I didn't like you that much. It would have been nice if there had been more of you in book three.

Dear Gally...Honestly in the first book I didn't like you one little bit, but when we met you again in the third book and when you decided to go with Thomas and save the other Immunes I liked you a lot more. You aren't by far a favorite of mine, but I'm glad you ended up on the good side.

To Ava Paige...At the end I liked you. Still the end does not justify the means.

To Rat Man....I hate you. 'Nuff said.

As you can see I've just finished reading the Maze-Runner trilogy. They were really good books! I enjoyed them, although I did find them a bit depressing. If you've seen the movie, read the books! As always the books are better, I hope you'll agree. :)

Recently..

Things have been really busy around here recently. I've actually found it a bit hard to post and so here I am finally trying to post something before I need to do something. NOTE: This may go as far back as a month as I haven't done an update post in a while

Reading.....The Bracken Trilogy, I've almost finished book one, a friend lent it to me and I think that they are pretty good! :D I finished 'All Fall Down' the other day, it did take me a while though, and I actually wasn't that impressed with it. :P Which is a bit irritating. I also finished At Aboukir and Acre by G. A. Henty I love it how in all of the books the hero ends up marrying and it just has such a 'happily ever after' feeling to it. :)

Watching....Arrow!

Arrow is amazing it is awesome! It is wonderful. I'm working on a post for it. I love Oliver, Diggle, Felicity and Laurel. :) we've now finished Season 1 and I think it was great. I wouldn't recommend it to younger people though.

And Hogan's Heroes, I mean seriously whenever Carter dresses up as Hitler it's a barrel full of laughs. :)

Well, me and Mum weren't like this. But I can be at this stage pretty often. 

Laughing at....things Saxon says, Horrible Histories and things from Family Ties and oldish T.V. show from the 70's. Not quite little kid appropriate but Mum and I were laughing through it and I really enjoyed it. I don't think I've laughed so hard in anything for ages.

Advent, watching movies, Christmas present-making and surprises.

Well it seems that a lot of these post lately have been random updates on things. Frankly, I haven't had very much time to post at all. It's just been so busy!

Sunday was our anniversary of becoming Catholic seven years ago, and though I had started a blog post as you have probably observed, it didn't get published.

CONGRATS TO US!!!
Advent has been great so far, and I am really enjoying our Advent study. One problem though, we really need to catch up on Jothams Journey and find out what happens, though I am of the firm belief that Nathan is the best in Bartholomew's Passage (beside that being my favourite).

It was really funny starting to read it because I was mouthing stuff to Saxon and Mum like 'Decha's he's uncle,' and "It's Decha!" And "Nathan is in the next chapter!" If you have never read any of the Arnold Yeetride books, three being Jothams Journey, Bartholomew Passage, and Tabithas Travels which are all advent books leading up to all of them meeting back in the manger where the newborn Jesus is sleeping.
I've been working on Christmas presents though I am not feeling overly rushed, I've only got a few things left but I wanted to share what I am making for my sister, Eden. Eden, if you are reading this do NOT scroll down.









Hopefully she's gone. Anyway here is what it is!

I am very, very proud of this. If you are wondering what it's connected to, it's a prequel/novella of Alan 'a' Dale before he met Robin Hood and after. It's really fun to write and is sort of a break from Outlaw. I even wrote a summary of it and I must say, though it's my first, I'm rather proud of it.

Summary: The son of a count. A nobleman. The right-hand man to one of history's most famous outlaws. Find out what happened to Alan 'a' Dale before he joined Robin Hood's gang, how he ran away from his father's castle in southern France, how he came to England as a minstrel, how he was one night rudely thrown out of a inn, and that very same night, while wandering through Sherwood, and feeling rather faint from lack of food, was saved by Robin Hood, himself. And now, journey with him as he tells the stories of the many adventures he, his chief, and friends and outlaws, embarked upon in their fight against injustice and tyranny.

I must echo my previous statement, I'm very happy with it. :)

I've been listening to quite a few things lately. Soundtracks, Christmas music, and one particular song 'What Makes You Different (Makes you Beautiful)' By Backstreet Boys. Which by the way I haven;t heard properly in years. :)

I've watched a few new movies, and watched a few Christmas ones as well.

We got the Prestige out the other week and I saw it for the first time, luckily I wasn't the only one who hadn't seen it, my sister Autumn also hadn't seen it either. We also got 'Now You See Me' out just the other night. As you can see we are a bit into magicians at the moment. :D The twist with 'Now You See Me' was like, you felt so stupid! The Prestige's twist on the other hand was like 'What? And then, once again, I FEEL SO STUPID!!!' All us younger kids have also been walking around quoting 'The Lorax' which I finally saw all the way through and I thought it was really good. :)



Autumn surprised me the other day by coming home with a 'Man of Steel' poster for me. Needless to say it is hanging up already and I am very happy with it. :)

The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug will be released here on Boxing Day and I am very excited! It is my number one Christmas present. Some people are saying it is good, and some saying that it is bad. Me? Well, I'll go with the positive rather then the negative. I also need to read or skim (probably skim) over the middle part of the book. (I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE SPIDERS!!!)But not be too pure-isty about it either.
And no matter what people say about Tauriel, anyone who can give Legolas a talking to is awesome! Plus, she's a girl elf, she got red hair, and looks awesome. :D

I've also been hearing really good reviews about 'Frozen' and I really want to see it in theaters, of course if it was a choice of it or DOS I'd choose DOS.

Hmm, what other things have I been doing? Well, we hosted a Homeschoolers Christmas Party at our house and it was great! Learning to get to know the older girls a bit better then before. And organising an all-nighter at our house on the 20th of January. I also lended some of my books to one of my friends as I'd told her about them, she was very interested in borrowing my Sherlock Files as I introduced her to the show, and she likes it. :)

Now, the biggest surprise of my life of the past week or so? Yep, wait for it, I'll tell you. It was just an ordinary day, and I walked outside to do my guinea pigs, I walked to the top of the stairs that descend a few short steps to the outside laundry, and totally freaked myself out. Can you guess why? A snake was swiftly crawling away into the garage, a BROWN SNAKE!

Very aggressive and very, very dangerous, so that ended any play outside as you can imagine, Dad got home later, checked the garage and found that the snake had gone. Thank goodness for that. Since then, the line everyone has been using when someone goes outside is 'Watch out for snakes!'

We've been Christmas cooking me and Myffwyn have been making Gingerbread.

And as a last note: Does anyone have any idea when Sherlock season 3 is released in Australia? I would assume that it would be the same as UK but not sure.
Anyway I'd better go.

This and That

So as you know Mum has not been well these past few days. Friday saw her and Dad going to the Doctor's for her to have a check-up as she was experiencing stomach pains and other symptoms which were very worrying. Please if you have not already done so, offer up as prayer for her and the new baby. We are all so very worried and anxious. We have been praying but being patient is hard. And if you have already said a prayer, then please, continue to do so.

I have been reading the 'River of Time series' which I highly recommend. Like seriously, these books are amazing. I've got a blog post in my drafts for when I finish Torrent and Bourne and Tributary. And seriously Marcello looks kind of like a goof if that is him on the front of Torrent. Tributary on the other hand. *sighs* seriously

Luca Forelli just looks awesome. :) I actually think this is one book series where I actually like the main guy more than the secondary guys. Surprise, surprise! I was expecting to like Luca the most but as it turned out Marcello comes first. Also Rodolfo Greco is such a complicated character and yes, I think he is great as well. And poor Fortion and I hate the Rossis. Anyway, if you haven't read these books, then you really, really need to!

It's six days until my birthday and I am getting very excited! Six more days and tomorrow five then, yeah you get the idea. It is getting really annoying with everyone posting Thor: The Dark World blog posts as I'm not looking at them as I haven't seen it yet. Hopefully on my birthday that will change. :)

I am very, very excited for Sherlock season 3! So long to wait, and the after three episodes we'll have to wait some more. :P Such is life. Arda sent me these two pictures which I pretty much burst out laughing

That thing, called feeling content. It's out there, y'know. :)

So Sundays are my favourite day of the week. I like Friday evenings, I like Saturday mornings, but Sunday wins, hands down. Okay, but I doooooo stress out before we get to Mass. I'm like that. I hate to be late.

Today was a beautiful day. On Friday we were invited to the baptism of a new baby girl by a family we know. We accepted of course and went to the baptism, and the mass after it. Both were in Latin and both were very nice. I actually managed to keep up with pretty much everything they were saying this time! I remember a few years ago I was extremely upset because I couldn't work out where we were up to in the mass book. I was actually like that a little bit a few weeks ago when we went to Latin mass but one of the best things about coming from a large family is that someone at least knows where we're up to. :)
After the baptism and mass, we chatted outside for a bit and got to see the little baby girl who's big day it was to be baptised. We also got to see another lady's baby who we hadn't seen yet, and another sweet adorable baby girl who is a yeah, absolutely adorable.
We were invited back to the special little baby's family's house and had lunch and everything like that. Great socialising and it was a beautiful day to be doing it as well. True it was getting a little hot in the afternoon but that's beside the point. :)
We stayed for about three and a half hours and I think that Mr and Mrs. (insert name) the Father and Mother of the little baby girl being baptised were wonderful hosts. And today was their wedding anniversary as well!
On the way back home I relaxed in the middle of the car. Listening to the I-Pod which was playing Eddie and the Cruisers songs. Some of them are so bittersweet. Like  'A Matter Of Time' but my favourite has to be

'Open Road' if you haven't heard these songs then go wash your mouth out with soap, cos they're amazing.

After coming home I grabbed Son Of Neptune and settled down outside on the grass, everyone was pretty exhausted and just went and did their own thing. I actually stopped for a little bit and did sword fighting with Arwen and Trahaearn. Arwen kept on telling me how we needed to just 'concentrate'. :) After it got too cold outside I went upstairs and put on a jumper and sat on my bed and read some more. I've got about 70 pages to go before I finish Son Of Neptune and move on to Mark of Athena, I love Ella, she is so adorable! She's a harpy, but she great.

And can I just say I love this quote that Mars says?

And let me just say a great improvement after The Lost Hero and all that stuff about Leo, Jason and Piper. I much prefer Percy, Hazel and Frank. Gaia is such an annoying character, and Mars saying that Frank is BETTER than Percy?!?! I'll punch him in the face for that. :P And on a side note, I've learned more Greek/Roman mythology from reading Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus books than anything else. Besides the fact that I hate Greek and Roman myths. The gods were also so immoral and had no standards.

But Percy Jackson I can do. :)
And so after having dinner I'm sitting here. Writing this blog post. Life's been busy. Enjoying Spring (nananananhhhh to all those people who hate colder months in your faces I'm having Spring. But don't worry, probably back in January I'll be complaining about the heat.

Mum's been reading us Big John's Secret, a book she read to us older kids years ago, but one the little kids have never heard. :) Crusades, castles, pages, swords, medieval= Pure Awesomeness. :) I can't wait to find out what happens next as I can't remember all of the story, only a little bit.

The Australian election was yesterday. I'm glad we kicked Rudd out but Liberal wasn't what I had in mind. I'd prefer DLP, for instance. Just gotta pray that its the right thing and they do a better job than Labour. Tony Abbott will be fun to draw on though, because we can add glasses, and rotten teeth, and ear piercings and stuff. :) And please tell me you actually have drawn on some politicians and just people in the newspaper and in magazines? Because it is so much fun.

This sound familiar.

Saxon sent me a couple of funny Assassin's Creed pictures on Facebook and we (Saxon, Rogan, a little bit of Eden, and I had a look. They are on a Facebook page but I wouldn't recommend the page as its got some language kind of stuff.

Speaking of Assassin's Creed has anyone seen any of the Youtube videos on Black Flag? What do you think of it.

 Edwards grown on me I've gotta admit. But he looks better with his hood off. :) Also got our Mum to play Assasin's Creed 3 last night for about ten minutes. We were sort of showing her everything. Like pick-pocketing people, killing peopel and throwing their bodies off the wharves into the water and that srot of stuff. She even killed a few innocent civilians. :) She did say she was getting bored, but I found that it was just sssooooooooooo funny!
Autumn was home for Friday even and all of Saturday, she left on the 12:30 am train and is safely back in Sydney. :)
Hoping for a productive week of school and (hopefully) having out awesome swing set finished on the weekend. Along with a visit from someone we haven't talked to much this year.

What on earth have I been doing???????

I sort of just disappeared and to me, after blogging so consistently on here for the past few months it felt a little bit strange, but it was good anyway.
So what have I been doing? What has been happening?


Well reading is one of the things I have been doing. Okay and yeah, I've only been reading one series of books recently. In fact that picture of me you see above this is me finishing the second in the series. The series is 'The Percy Jackson and the Olympians'. Probably the thing that started us with reading these books was watching the movie based on the first book. And Anna-Lisa was the one who suggested watching it, and even showed me and Eden the trailer of it, when we went down for the Lady's night and Kitchen Tea. We didn't get around to watching it but Eden wanted to get it from the Video shop and we watched. I've seen it three times now. Gosh, that's a lot of times since just before the wedding. I've got to admit, i have never been a big fan of reading the Greek myths. Never.

The idea of Gods and Goddesses was just an idea which I seriously disagreed with, even if the stories are not true. The Gods were always selfish, 'all about them' type attitude. And that's an outsiders opinion, just so you know. The Percy Jackson series is good, entertaining, funny (Hades is really funny) and awesome (like who doesn't like the idea of a pen that turns into a sword?)

What else? Well, I've been listening to this really cool aduibook written by Gordon Korman. It's called Unsinkable and there are two other books after Unsinkable (which I finished today). So I want my brother to put the

nest book on Mum's I-Pod so I can listen to it! Daniels not dead!!!!! :D And I like Paddy, and Alfie. Sophie is alright and I don't like Julia very much at all!

Coughing, yep I've had a cough and runny nose and everything else that happens when you have a cold. And so yep, coughing still.



I watched MIB for the first time ever the other night. It was very entertaining and funny. 'I'm sorry, was that your auntie?' Best line! :D

Plotting out cast for a Rangers Apprentice movie if we (Eden, Saxon, Rogan, and I, and Mum a bit too) ever had the budget and the means to do it. It's alright you know we've got Christian Bale as Gilan, Benedict Cumberbatch as Keren, Christopher Lee as Tennyson, probably Robert Downey jr. as Halt, Jennifer Lawrence as Alyss, James Franco as Horace, Hugh Jackman as Erak,  Russel Crowe's Slagor, Richard Armitage is Svengal, Will Smith is Selethen and yeah you get the idea. We'll need like a six-hundred-million-dollar budget. Oh yeah, and we'll need some epic music? Who knows how much that'll cost! :D But it was very, very fun!

This was from another day when Mum was reading it to him but nevertheless he was very enraptured anyway. :) 

Reading aloud to my little borther Trahaearn yesterday. I even put him to sleep! We read it like six times! The Boy with a Drum, I mean and I coughed a bit as well Not to mention we had read a few books before that!
And yes, that's it! Besides school and stuff like that.
