A Video Game that is fun.

So, I wanted something to post about and I asked my brother Saxon for suggestions and he said "Do a blog post on Assassins Creed." So here I am writing this post.
You might wonder what Assassins Creed is well first of its a video game. Yes, that's right a video game....but a fun video game.

We first started to play this one day during holidays in January on our big brother Braedon's computer.
Saxon had been playing it for a little while and the day that the older kids convienitly went down to Hobart to visit some friends was the opitune moment to start playing this game. It is addictive. That much is certain the the first day we played it we stayed most of the time where we were playing it.
After that, we didn't play it as much and than Braedon left and took his computer and Assassins Creed with him.
There are four of them so far and we own the first two which we got about two weeks ago in a double pack. We have a computer which can run them now which is really awesome though we sent the second one to Braedon to check out as you never know if computer games are dodgy or not.
It's rated MA for violence you are in fact, an assassin and kill some people and yeah some of the graphics like shoving your into some guys ribs is a little graphic but yeah. You better check it out yourself, though we don't let the little kids watch it Rogan and up are fine to watch it.:)  Yes, that does sound rather extreme and not to nice but the story is that you and two other of the young assassins were reckless resulting in one of the two being killed and the other injured you are depremoted and have to do a series of quest you might call it to get back to the rank of Assasin that you were before. You also have to work out who let the templars in and yeah, this is all suppose to be memorys by the way, just thought I'd let you know. :) You can read more about it here
There are several cut scenes which are just full of talking which you CAN'T skip which is irritating but you can do some things.
Like save citizens.
Saving Citizens is one of my favourtie things to do when palying this; except in Acre of course, where it is pretty much you get killed trying to save citizens. Saxon always tells me how I'm not very reckless when it comes to playing this game like, for instance I won't usally walk up ton a guard amnd simp[ly slash him. Saving Citizens is very fun and you actually get to fight the guards because I usually like to be the person who is very inconspicuous. ;)

Another cool thing is to go and ride horses and yes, go to eagle points to unlock other palces in the city  which is really cool 'cause you an dive back down into a haystack which looks REALLY cool, trust me. :)

Templar's are the most nasty thing to fight absolutely because /I don't play it as much I don't kill them as much but one of the easiest ways to get rid of them is knock them off the rooftops or throw your throwing knives at them.

The weapons you get in Assassin's Creed are a sword, your fists, throwing knives and two small knives which when you walk up to someone you can stab with, yeah,

bloodthirsty, I know.

And so that pretty much wraps up this post.

How to Host a Murder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night I, Dad, Mum, Kynan, Braedon, Autumn, Eden and Saxon along with Rogan who was watching played Hot To Host A Murder. It was really fun and you really needed to use your brain. Guess who I ended up as................................THE MURDERER!!!!!
Yes, I did!!!! We each had a booklet telling us who we were what we were doing and things about other characters which you had to voice so everyone could discuss them. So at the end of each round we turned the page and found out a little more about us and other people. Anyway here's a rundown of where the murder is and how it took place:

Darlings: The suspense is simply too much to bear. All of Hollywood is gasping for news about Power Film Studios' newest film. Everyone who is anyone knows that it was produced under the strictest security in Building 5 on the Power lot and that production finished over a month ago. The oh-so-aloof Ivonde B. Ahlone graciously consented to appear opposite the incomparable Savoy R. Fayre. One hears as well that Power's new ingenue Heidi co-stars opposite that gorgeous creature, Stu D. Muphin. It is whispered that the movie is based on Hack Ryders latest work about the life and death of Power Film Studios' late lamented star, Mallisa Ann Greede, and that Hack pounded out the screenplay in record time. One assumes that the old pro Seldon U. Lloyd will direct, though that pretty young thing Denise N. Dayer has apparently been hovering about the sets with a look of authority in her eye. Well darlings, wait no longer. The word is out. Power Film Studios has announced the premiere showing of Power and Greede at Power Oriental Gardens Theater this Saturday. Ad-mission is by invitation only and, true to form, Mr. P. issued his invitations with malicious precision. He is revelling, I'm sure, in omitting some of Hollywood's nobility from the guest list. The invitation arrived in a salmon-colored embossed envelope. Cast, director, writer and your humble servant will join Mr. P. for champagne and caviar before the film begins, followed by a magnificent feast prepared by Master Chef Jacques Endibaux. Yummy!

You have received an invitation to the premiere of Power Film Studios' latest release 'Power and Greede'. As an illustrious member of the cast or crew, you are a guest of the producer W. Anton Power. At the gala, guests find out that 1936 is curtains for a mutual friend.

Come on guess!

This is going to be fun! This contest is sorta like a movie quote quiz except I have the start of a song on my blog and you have to tell me what the song is and who the artist is A.K.A. who it's by. You can ask immediate family(siblings, parents, guardians etc,) Here is a blog that did this sort of contest. The rules: No cheating (obviously) No looking up these songs. The contest will end on the 30th of July. And the person who wins will get an award. But everyone who enters will get a participating award. All of them are from Cd's NOT from movies, although you might have heard them from movies. so here I go:
1# "You don't run with the crowd. You go your own way.
2# "Called you for the first time yesterday. Finally found the missing part of me."
3# "Grew up in a small town. And when the rain would fall down.
4# "Shot through the heart and you're to blame. Darlin' you give love a bad name.

9# "I'm here with the others. Who saw the heavens testify. Now I hang back in the shadows. I wanna come close, I wanna know."

The Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit.

Last night Me, Eden and Saxon played The Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit for the first time ever with the DVDs from the game! with Braedon and Autumn. I was with Autumn and everyone else was on separate teams. Out of the figures Me and Autumn were Gandalf and you would think Gandalf would be wise cause we only got two peices of pie! But

Braedon got the easy questions! Braedon was old croaky A.K.A. Galadrial Saxon was Aragorn and Eden was Frodo! Braedon won! (of course). but it was all questions from the movie and not from the book otherwise Braedon wouldn't of won. Me and Eden had to close our eyes with some of the questions cause it showed you some of the bits of the movie out of the last Lord of the Rings and spoil it!(Which we haven't seen).
It was really funny when you heard Gollums voice with the question for the win! He said "wrong wrong wrong" if you got it wrong and another time he said"What's a matter haven't you seen the movie?" We found his voice soooooo funny I mean hilarious! We had a lot of fun playing it!
