What I've been reading, listening and watching........lately

Hi everyone.
Well, holidays are almost finished here. Which means that next week we're back to school. In some ways I'm happy and in other ways I'm sad. I'm glad that we'll have a routine more so than we have had in the holidays. But I'm sad because the holidays are really slow days which actually go quickly. :) Anyway, that wasn't the reason I'm writing this post so I'll just get to the point. I'd like to share what I've been doing, as the title suggests, so here we go.

I haven't been reading that much,. *shock gasp horror* I know, it's just that I've been watching a lot of stuff. The few things I have been reading are:

Return of the King. This being only a little bit. I'm up to the 'Field of Cormallen' but as I've said I have only read a tiny bit of it. I'm so proud that I'm going so well with it. :)

Castaways in Time: The After Cilmeri series book six. This is another time-traveling book which is highly enjoyable. It is what I would term more lighter reading. Still, if you are in the mood for medieval times, welsh characters and an interesting story-line I then  go for it! It is a bit more adulty though, here and there. My favourite is still Prince of Time, but any of the series is good. :)

Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus. So this is probably the one I've been focusing on most. I don't know how many of you remember Mabel, but she finished House of Hades and then she said she reckoned she'd finish it before I did. And being the none competitive person that I am, I agreed. NOT. So now I'm pretty confident I'll finish it before her. :) It's true I'm enjoying reading it, it's better than the Lost Hero but it still cannot beat Son of Neptune or Mark of Athena and the reason I'm saying it is not better than House of Hades is because there are actual Percy and Annabeth points of view in them whereas we have in Blood of Olympus:
Jason = Dull
Piper = Alright
Leo = Funny
Nico = Good
Reyna = Good.
Whereas if we had Percy's point of view I'd rate it as:
Percy = Awesome. :)
It's a good book it's just not as enjoyable because Percy gets shoved to the back as a secondary character. And because it needs to be said: Percy Jackson is way better than Jason Grace. Seriously, he is. :)

What I've been listening to.
So Autumn showed me this video the other week and so now I have it on my I-Pod and I've been listening to it a lot.
It's called 'I'm so Catholic'. You won't get it unless your Catholic though. Oh, and I can sing some of it, too.
But recently as in since about Thursday I've been listening to two other songs more, they are:
Hooked on a Feeling
Come and Get Your Love. Honestly if I didn't have Hooked on a Feeling off GOTG I'd say that it was junk. :) I'm just loving listening to these two, I hope that the sequel has more of these kind of songs (as in the Awesome Mix 2).
Weird Al Yankovic. He is so funny with his parodies. The one that I've been listening to the most is:
Ode to a Superhero
Anthem Lights. Saxon got me the album 'You have my Heart' and my two favourtie songs of it are
Dear Hollywood and Closer than the Angels.
'Dear Hollywood' just seems so true to life and 'Closer than the Angels' makes me feel happy. :)
I've added a healthy dose of Brandon Heath and then yeah, that's what I've been listening to.

Now onto watching.....This is fun. :D

I've started watching Sherlock with Rogan as he now has permission to watch it! He really likes it. :) We've only watched 'A Study in Pink' and 'The Blind Banker' so far. Hopefully we'll be watching 'The Great Game' tonight. :) He can't decide if he likes Sherlock or John better. :) And he loved the whole John-being-Sherlock-mix-up in episode two.
I've also watched some Gilmore Girls but now after some thinking on it, I don';t want to continue watching the series anymore. Just a bit more than I want as once again, it's a bit more older. Oh, and can you guess what I've mostly been watching?

THIS! TADA!!! :D I am just so totally loving it! I think I might like it better than Sherlock. :) Or at least there even. It's been so much fun watching Person of Interest because My Dad likes it and Rogan can watch it too, which means that we've all been watching it together. :) And the characters are now so dear to me. John, Harold, Carter and Fusco. And we're just on season 2. And John rescued Harold and Root is such a good bad guy and I have no idea what is going to happen next! Oh and we haven't heard anything from Elias in a while and what is Kara doing back and Fusco and Carter know they're on the same side. And John and Harold are really good friends and John's got a dog and Harold's reaction to it was so sweet. :) It's all just, so very, very, good. And as you can see I'm fangirling. :)

Anyway I'd better go. :)

The Warm Hugs tag....sort of.

Hi guys! :)
Arda tagged me with the Warm Hugs Tag if I wanted to do it, seeing as the questions were interesting and I thought I would enjoy it, I decided to go ahead and do it. :)

The rules:
1. Follow the blog that tagged you (optional).
2. Include two or more pictures that include your favorite characters, books, movies, or lyrics from songs (they can also be your own edits or pictures).
3. Tag five or more bloggers and tell them.
I found this just now. Not in the movie but isn't it a great picture?
That's one.

That's two.

4. Answer the blogger’s ten questions related to characters, books, movies, or lyrics.
5. Create your own questions having to do with the same thing.

1. Do you listen to any podcasts?
No, not really. I tried to listen to the first one over at JandProdcutions when James was doing them but honestly, I did not really have something else to do while I was listening to it, and I prefer to listen and do something at the same time. What can I say, I multi task.

2. At what point did you know you were into your main fandom(s)?
The point when I was basically photo-bombing my blog with pictures of them. :) And thinking about them, like a lot and obsessing over them. :)

3. What are you currently reading and/or watching?

I just finished reading the Hunger Games trilogy. I am now reading Little Men. It is sooooo good! I've been watching Season 2 of Arrow. But have decided that I'm going to be steering clear of that for a while.
Hopefully tonight we'll be watching The Hunger Games. :)

4. Writing in books - yes or no? Absolutely! My name and when I got it. If it is a gift from someone I'll write who it is from. :)

5. Who is the funniest character you like?
Umm, hard question. Percy Jackson comes to mind. Yep, probably Percy Jackson. Because the books are from a first person perspective and the way he describes things and his attitudes toward some people/creatures is hysterical.
This is my personal favourite:
“A demigod!" one snarled. "Eat it!" yelled another. But that's as far as they got before I slashed a wide arc with Riptide and vaporized the entire front row of monsters. "Back off!" I yelled at the rest, trying to sound fierce. Behind them stood their instructor--a six-foot tall telekhine with Doberman fangs snarling at me. I did my best to stare him down.
"New lesson, class," I announced. "Most monsters will vaporize when sliced with a celestial bronze sword. This change is completely normal, and will happen to you right now if you don't BACK OFF!" To my surprise, it worked. The monsters backed off, but there was at least twenty of them. My fear factor wasn't going to last that long. I jumped out of the cart, yelled, "CLASS DISMISSED!" and ran for the exit.”
See what I mean. :)

6. What is your favorite soundtrack?
I ADORE soundtracks. Probably the one I currently really, really love is the soundtrack from The Last Samurai. It is a soundtrack which is very easy to just fade into and lose track of where you are up to but it it also very nice. Plus it runs for about an hour and is perfect for listening to when doing an hour-long subject. I also enjoy listening to it while writing. Great mood music.

7. Do you like to reread/rewatch things?
Yes, sometimes I over re-read things. And then they get dull. Then they go to the back of my book case so that next time I get them out they'll be as interesting as they used to be. As to re-watching things. Yes, as long as I'm in the mood. I've been wanting to re-watch LOTR for a while now. The problem is no one else has been that interested in the idea.

8. What character inspires you the most?
I don't know. At the moment I'd say a very inspiring character is Peeta Mallerk from The Hunger Games. Or it might just be that I am currently very much liking him...like a lot. He is definitely up on my Heroes list. He is amazing. :)

9. What is a smaller or lesser-known fandom you think is great? The Fairy-Tale novels! They are amazing re-tellings of fairy tales set in modern days by Regina Doman. Fish is amazing too.

10. What movies are you still looking forward to this year?
There are only a few but here goes: The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, The Hunger Games: Mockinjay part one, and Night at the Museum three.

The tagging part:
Honestly I just wanted to answer the questions mostly and seriously I'm feeling lazy and really don't want to tag anyone or make ten questions. Yep, lazy me. :)

A Slice of Pizza

Most people title posts like this, 'A Slice of Life' me, I thought it would be cooler to call it what it is now. After pizza is very agreeable, although it could have been a slice of fudge as well, so many delectable choices. :)
Anyway, so what's been happening with me? Hmm, lots of things really.
1. I finished House of Hades. Yes, that book that I was really really annoyed and disgusted with. Thank Goodness I finally have, because I hate to have books that I've only half read hanging around.
2. Watched the last two Hornblower episodes with Rogan. We both agree that Maria is actually a better character than the french girl (I can't even remember her name). And her making him gloves before he leaves. Well, we were both saying 'Aww' when she gave them to him. But we were also about ready to give him a talking to in Duty until the end...then it was much better though it is not one of my favourites.

And we both really like Mr. Bush.

3. Been going in the pool a lot. And enjoying it. It's been really nice as the last few days have been really hot about 40.
4. Watched the last episode of Season 3 of Sherlock. I actually didn't enjoy it that much as it had some stuff in it that I didn't think needed to be in there. My favourite part was the Sherlock and Mycroft moment when they are at their parents' house and their mother almost catches them smoking and Mycroft tells Sherlock that he really does care about him. Also the reconciliation between John and Mary, that was hands down, the best part out of it all. Out of the three I think that probably The Sign of Three was my favourite. I absolutely loved Sherlock's speech. And him organising the page boy and telling a friend of Marys that he had been dropped to casual friend was really funny. Also, it probably had the best mystery out of the three. I did love the first episode but the second is the best I think all round.

Dat speech.
I absolutely loved Sherlock's speech. And him organising the page boy and telling a friend of Marys that he had been dropped to casual friend was really funny. Also, it probably had the best mystery out of the three. I did love the first episode but the second is the best in all areas.

Also that cliff-hanger? Well, I'm certainly not as interested or emotionally surprised and upset like I was for Reichebach Fall. I mean, BBC confirmed Moriarty to be dead and he's got to be dead. Otherwise Sherlock will just turn into one of those stupid T.V. shows where there is the same bad guy over and over again. Also, not a two year wait please, a year, no more. That's all I ask.  Also, they've been planning seasons 4&5 one very excited girl here! :D

5. Been looking at my drafts. I've got about thirty-six of them and I really need to work on some of them.
6. I've also been making skirts for us girls. Mum also wants one, I've made one for me and Arwen and I've cut out and over-locked almost all of Moran and Myffwyn's skirts. Mum also wants one so busy, busy.
7. Getting excited for a sleepover which me and Eden have organised this Monday night, we are planning on watching movies and staying awake as long as possible, and then crashing. It will be interesting to see how long I last. :)
8. I've got a dead-line to finish TT but actually I haven't done very much reading of it. Hmph, anyway, but I am reading a really nice book by Chrisitne Pope which Mum got off Kindle for me. It's surprisingly more mature than I thought it would be, but I am loving reading it anyway. And I really love Lord Shaine, he's such a sweetie!
Isn't the cover gorgeous?
9. We celebrated Eden's 18th Birthday last Saturday. Her birthday is actually in July but there were some complications of getting a date that suited everyone. It was pretty exhausting, but nice, and everyone had to wear a mask. Me and Rogan also dressed up as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John H. Watson, though we didn't get any pictures and the trench coat, then suit coat, were really boiling so it didn't last long. I even had band-aids for nicotine patches and Rogan had a gun, so it was very fun. :) Also, Mum has a pink phone so I walked around with that a little. And we were trying to find a serial killer as well, that's why we were there, investigating.

10. I went and saw Frozen for the second time the other day, I'd already seen it once and then Saxon because he was going crazy as we were listening to the songs from it and quoting, wanted to go and see it, and he generously took Rogan and I along with him. As it turned out, we sat right down the front, it was very interesting as we always try and get the back seats, but the cinema was packed. Anyway, I'll hopefully have a post on Frozen up soon. I enjoyed it much more the second time rather than the first. Thank you Saxon for taking us!

Anyway, I'd better go. That's just an update of what's been going on, hopefully I'll post again soon, but yeah anyway, see you guys!

Why I am disgusted with House of Hades, by Rick Riordan

NOTE: Some of what I am going to mention in this post is not appropriate for all ages. I would not recommend people under the age of fourteen reading it. If you would like to know what this blog post is about, then please as a parent or someone who's judgement you trust to see if you can read it.

Okay, so what you may or may not know is that House of Hades by Rick Riordan, the fourth book out of the Heroes of Olympus series was released early this month. I have gradually been reading it, but now I've stopped. You see, I am disgusted with the author, and with one of my absolute favourite characters.
My Mum told me that some of her mother friends actually had decided that they were not going to let their children read this book. And seriously, that's not a bad idea.

Okay, so it started off, switching from a few characters at a time, which gets annoying, and something that actually really annoyed me, before the major thing, was how SLOW it was! I mean it's like the author was just like 'hmmm, what other boring catastrophe should I add in to make my book just a bit longer,' and that's all they were, boring things that just made me groan and want to bang my head against a tree.
But the thing that really ticked me off, made me feel disgusted and betrayed by, was the fact that he mentioned Homosexuality, and he seems to think that it is absolutely okay, and Nico Di Angelo, one of my favourite characters, liked Percy Jackson, (please excuse my I get some peanuts and throw them at a picture of Rick Riordan, and I might need a sicky bucket, because this whole thing grosses me out). And here's another thing, Jason thought it was okay! Just like that, another character was destroyed, though he was never one of my favourite characters it still was still terrible.
And just like that, Nico Di Angelo, one of my all time favourite characters, was destroyed. The cool son of Hades, has been transformed it a really wacko guy. I don't think I'll ever be able to read any of the other books which were before this one, even the Percy Jackson books, without remembering how disgusted I am. And that never makes for pleasant reading.
Okay, let's get something straight, there can be friendships between guys, just as there can be friendships between girls, but the kind of love he was talking about, is reserved for a married husband and wife. And if you don't know that, you're nuts.
I am actually working on another blog post which goes into a more in-depth opinion on this subject, but it is quite long so I have no idea when it will be posted.

Who knows, maybe one day, I'll be able to pick up House of Hades and finish it. I do want to finish it. But I am not interested currently. I am reading Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren and her good male characters aren't crackers, and her female characters are strong examples of good young women. Let me just say, it's a much better book then House of Hades. And I have a major crush on Marcello and Luca. :)

My Favourite Authors Part 1: Two Authors Who Make Me Laugh Out-Loud

A series of posts about Authors who's stories have captivated me, and who I find inspiring.

1. John Flanagan. The Ranger's Apprentice series.
So yeah, if you've read my blog long enough you should know that I love his Ranger's Apprentice series to bits. I have yet to own all of them, I'll get them all eventually! One of the best book series ever! Humour, action, great characters! Most disappointing was however, his Brotherband series. The first was good. The second wasn't even needed and the third was just like he saw this plot-line that he re-used over and over again. And now we're just reduced to Brotherband, either he'll need to get some better story-lines otherwise I am going to be vastly annoyed. And one day a book signing, yep! Great idea that! Just need to go to Sydney, there is bound to be one there! My favourite characters are obviously: Will Treaty, Alyss Mainwaring, Halt, Selethen, Erak Starfollower and Gilan. And just so everyone knows I thought that Evanlyn and Horace were pretty pathetic parents in The Royal Ranger. My least favourite book out of the series is the Lost Stories as it was just a collection of short stories, with no main bad guy. The Royal Ranger was also a bit slow because you have to go through all the same training that Will undertakes in the first book. Also there wasn't as much Halt or humour. :)

2. Rick Riordan. Percy Jackson series and Heroes of Olympus
Just this year, we discovered the movie. Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief, which though from a book to movie view is not the most loyal, was still a good movie. After that we discovered the books. The Percy Jackson series. Out of them all, I think my favourite would be the Battle of the Labyrinth. Strangely, I think that Percy Jackson and Hiccup from How To Train Your Dragon, actually are very much alike. Especially in the first movie when Percy first sees Mrs. Dodds. Percy Jackson, Nico Di Angelo, Annabeth Chase, and Tyson. They are the best characters.
I pretty much died of boredom in the Lost Hero. Percy wasn't in it! The other main characters who you really like, aren't really in it either! The most interesting chapters were from Leo's point of view. I had guessed that Percy was at the other camp at the end of the Lost Hero, and I read the first chapter of Son of Neptune right away.
The Heroes of Olympus is very different from the Percy Jackson series. One is written in first person, (PJ) the other in third (HOO) but they both have the same flavour of adventure and fun. The best chapters are from Percy's point of view and Annabeth's. My least favourite characters have got to be Piper, Jason and Frank. Coach Hedge seems to be trying to be humorous but falls a little flat. The Mark of Athena is currently my favourite HOO book. I am currently reading House of Hades and getting a little worried as I think that Nico is going to die! Ahhh! Oh, and Camp Half-Blood beats Camp Jupiter

John Flanagan and Rick Riordan are two of the authors who make me laugh out loud the most!
For instance:
“Without thinking, Will spoke. 'Halt? Are you awake?'
'No.' The ill humor in the one-word reply was unmistakable.
'Oh. Sorry.'
'Shut up.' He pondered whether to apologise again and decided this would go against the instruction to shut up, so remained silent.
“Will'd barely been asleep a few minutes when Halt's voice woke him.
'Will? Are you asleep?'...
'I was,' he said, a little indignantly. 'I'm not now.'
'Good,' Halt replied, a trifle smugly.
'Serves you right.”
-Rangers Apprentice: The Emperor of Nihon-Ja
""A Demigod!" one snarled. "Eat it!" yelled another. But that's as far as they got before I slashed a wide arc with Riptide and vaporized the entire front row of monsters."Back off!" I yelled at the rest, trying to sound fierce. Behind them stood their instructor--a six-foot tall telekhine with Doberman fangs snarling at me. I did my best to stare him down."New lesson, class," I announced. "Most monsters will vaporize when sliced with a celestial bronze sword. This change is completely normal, and will happen to you right now if you don't BACK OFF!"
To my surprise, it worked. The monsters backed off, but there was at least twenty of them. My fear factor wasn't going to last that long. I jumped out of the cart, yelled, "CLASS DISMISSED!" and ran for the exit. --Percy Jackson: The Battle of the Labyrinth
I hope you enjoyed reading this! I certainly enjoyed writing it!

Sunday, 8 September 2013

That thing, called feeling content. It's out there, y'know. :)

So Sundays are my favourite day of the week. I like Friday evenings, I like Saturday mornings, but Sunday wins, hands down. Okay, but I doooooo stress out before we get to Mass. I'm like that. I hate to be late.

Today was a beautiful day. On Friday we were invited to the baptism of a new baby girl by a family we know. We accepted of course and went to the baptism, and the mass after it. Both were in Latin and both were very nice. I actually managed to keep up with pretty much everything they were saying this time! I remember a few years ago I was extremely upset because I couldn't work out where we were up to in the mass book. I was actually like that a little bit a few weeks ago when we went to Latin mass but one of the best things about coming from a large family is that someone at least knows where we're up to. :)
After the baptism and mass, we chatted outside for a bit and got to see the little baby girl who's big day it was to be baptised. We also got to see another lady's baby who we hadn't seen yet, and another sweet adorable baby girl who is a yeah, absolutely adorable.
We were invited back to the special little baby's family's house and had lunch and everything like that. Great socialising and it was a beautiful day to be doing it as well. True it was getting a little hot in the afternoon but that's beside the point. :)
We stayed for about three and a half hours and I think that Mr and Mrs. (insert name) the Father and Mother of the little baby girl being baptised were wonderful hosts. And today was their wedding anniversary as well!
On the way back home I relaxed in the middle of the car. Listening to the I-Pod which was playing Eddie and the Cruisers songs. Some of them are so bittersweet. Like  'A Matter Of Time' but my favourite has to be

'Open Road' if you haven't heard these songs then go wash your mouth out with soap, cos they're amazing.

After coming home I grabbed Son Of Neptune and settled down outside on the grass, everyone was pretty exhausted and just went and did their own thing. I actually stopped for a little bit and did sword fighting with Arwen and Trahaearn. Arwen kept on telling me how we needed to just 'concentrate'. :) After it got too cold outside I went upstairs and put on a jumper and sat on my bed and read some more. I've got about 70 pages to go before I finish Son Of Neptune and move on to Mark of Athena, I love Ella, she is so adorable! She's a harpy, but she great.
And can I just say I love this quote that Mars says?
And let me just say a great improvement after The Lost Hero and all that stuff about Leo, Jason and Piper. I much prefer Percy, Hazel and Frank. Gaia is such an annoying character, and Mars saying that Frank is BETTER than Percy?!?! I'll punch him in the face for that. :P And on a side note, I've learned more Greek/Roman mythology from reading Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus books than anything else. Besides the fact that I hate Greek and Roman myths. The gods were also so immoral and had no standards.

But Percy Jackson I can do. :)
And so after having dinner I'm sitting here. Writing this blog post. Life's been busy. Enjoying Spring (nananananhhhh to all those people who hate colder months in your faces I'm having Spring. But don't worry, probably back in January I'll be complaining about the heat.

Mum's been reading us Big John's Secret, a book she read to us older kids years ago, but one the little kids have never heard. :) Crusades, castles, pages, swords, medieval= Pure Awesomeness. :) I can't wait to find out what happens next as I can't remember all of the story, only a little bit.

The Australian election was yesterday. I'm glad we kicked Rudd out but Liberal wasn't what I had in mind. I'd prefer DLP, for instance. Just gotta pray that its the right thing and they do a better job than Labour. Tony Abbott will be fun to draw on though, because we can add glasses, and rotten teeth, and ear piercings and stuff. :) And please tell me you actually have drawn on some politicians and just people in the newspaper and in magazines? Because it is so much fun.
This sound familiar.
Saxon sent me a couple of funny Assassin's Creed pictures on Facebook and we (Saxon, Rogan, a little bit of Eden, and I had a look. They are on a Facebook page but I wouldn't recommend the page as its got some language kind of stuff.

Speaking of Assassin's Creed has anyone seen any of the Youtube videos on Black Flag? What do you think of it.

Edwards grown on me I've gotta admit. But he looks better with his hood off. :) Also got our Mum to play Assasin's Creed 3 last night for about ten minutes. We were sort of showing her everything. Like pick-pocketing people, killing peopel and throwing their bodies off the wharves into the water and that srot of stuff. She even killed a few innocent civilians. :) She did say she was getting bored, but I found that it was just sssooooooooooo funny!
Autumn was home for Friday even and all of Saturday, she left on the 12:30 am train and is safely back in Sydney. :)
Hoping for a productive week of school and (hopefully) having out awesome swing set finished on the weekend. Along with a visit from someone we haven't talked to much this year.

I'm excited!!!

Me and Rogan are very excited for 'Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters' which is being released at the movies in September. I'm so excited!! I hope it is better than te first one like, from book to movie, type thing. :) And Tyson's in it! Tyson is soooooo cute! Gosh, I sound like Aphrodite talking to Percy in TTC. :)

This is the best trailer out of all of them!

"You weren't able to talk sense into him?"
Well, we kind of tried to kill each other in a duel to the death."
I see. You tried the diplomatic approach.”
― Rick Riordan, The Sea of Monsters

“There was Tyson moving into the Poseidon cabin, giggling to himself every fifteen seconds and saying, "Percy is my brother?" like he'd just won the lottery.

Aw, Tyson," I'd say. "It's not that simple.”
― Rick Riordan, The Sea of Monsters

“Weapons are allowed. Dirty tricks are expected. But try not to kill anybody!” Tantalus smiled at us like we were all naughty children. “Any killing will result in harsh punishment. No s’mores at the campfire for a week! Now ready your chariots!”
― Rick Riordan, The Sea of Monsters

“Tyson dropped the two warriors he was about to tie into a knot and jogged after us. He jumped on the centaur's back.
'Dude!' the centaur groaned, almost buckling under Tyson's weight. 'Do the words "low-carb diet" mean anything to you?”
― Rick Riordan, The Sea of Monsters

I AM VERY EXCITED!!! I'm up to book three in the five books, oh yeah and I'm going to go see 'Man of Steel' tomorrow with my two older sisters. We are having a 'sisters day out' and I'm hoping we'll have a lot of fun.

What on earth have I been doing???????

I sort of just disappeared and to me, after blogging so consistently on here for the past few months it felt a little bit strange, but it was good anyway.
So what have I been doing? What has been happening?

Well reading is one of the things I have been doing. Okay and yeah, I've only been reading one series of books recently. In fact that picture of me you see above this is me finishing the second in the series. The series is 'The Percy Jackson and the Olympians'. Probably the thing that started us with reading these books was watching the movie based on the first book. And Anna-Lisa was the one who suggested watching it, and even showed me and Eden the trailer of it, when we went down for the Lady's night and Kitchen Tea. We didn't get around to watching it but Eden wanted to get it from the Video shop and we watched. I've seen it three times now. Gosh, that's a lot of times since just before the wedding. I've got to admit, i have never been a big fan of reading the Greek myths. Never.

The idea of Gods and Goddesses was just an idea which I seriously disagreed with, even if the stories are not true. The Gods were always selfish, 'all about them' type attitude. And that's an outsiders opinion, just so you know. The Percy Jackson series is good, entertaining, funny (Hades is really funny) and awesome (like who doesn't like the idea of a pen that turns into a sword?)

What else? Well, I've been listening to this really cool aduibook written by Gordon Korman. It's called Unsinkable and there are two other books after Unsinkable (which I finished today). So I want my brother to put the

nest book on Mum's I-Pod so I can listen to it! Daniels not dead!!!!! :D And I like Paddy, and Alfie. Sophie is alright and I don't like Julia very much at all!

Coughing, yep I've had a cough and runny nose and everything else that happens when you have a cold. And so yep, coughing still.

I watched MIB for the first time ever the other night. It was very entertaining and funny. 'I'm sorry, was that your auntie?' Best line! :D

Plotting out cast for a Rangers Apprentice movie if we (Eden, Saxon, Rogan, and I, and Mum a bit too) ever had the budget and the means to do it. It's alright you know we've got Christian Bale as Gilan, Benedict Cumberbatch as Keren, Christopher Lee as Tennyson, probably Robert Downey jr. as Halt, Jennifer Lawrence as Alyss, James Franco as Horace, Hugh Jackman as Erak,  Russel Crowe's Slagor, Richard Armitage is Svengal, Will Smith is Selethen and yeah you get the idea. We'll need like a six-hundred-million-dollar budget. Oh yeah, and we'll need some epic music? Who knows how much that'll cost! :D But it was very, very fun!

Portrait: He loves this book and I have to ding the rhyme to him over and over and over and .......
This was from another day when Mum was reading it to him but nevertheless he was very enraptured anyway. :)
Reading aloud to my little borther Trahaearn yesterday. I even put him to sleep! We read it like six times! The Boy with a Drum, I mean and I coughed a bit as well Not to mention we had read a few books before that!
And yes, that's it! Besides school and stuff like that.
Cheerio!

God Bless
