This and that.

 Hey everyone,
I haven't been posting much as you can see because I have been enjoying holidays before we start our new year of school which starts next Monday.
I have been doing lots of different things such as: playing board games, watching movies, writing a new story idea of mine, bouncing on our trampoline we got for Christmas from our Grandparents (well they actually sent the money and we bought it) reading lots of new and different books and just having fun talking and not having to get up early.
We had a great Christmas and this year instead of leaving my homemade Christmas presents until about September I have already started. Yes, called me obsessed if you want but I don't want to be like I was a few days before Christmas where I was knitting and making stuff. One of my new year resolutions is to have all my Christmas presents made before my birthday which is 16th of November. I want to try and finish them before the start of November because I have been contemplating thoughts on doing NaNoWriMo this year although I don't want to do the set 50,000 words. I am not sure if I could manage that, but I like the idea of doing the young writers program and trying for 25,000 which is still a big lot for me.
My two oldest brothers are leaving home on Friday night and we are all getting a little sad about it will be interesting to be one of the older kids I'll be the 4th biggest kid at home.
Today is Arwen's 3rd birthday ("HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARWEN!!) and Mum is getting a little sad that Arwen is getting so big and she is. Her words aren't so much like a little toddlers and she is being a responsible big sister to Trahaearn
It seems that Trahaearn is going to be a bottom scooter instead of a crawling baby. I was actually hoping he would crawl or commando crawl like I did. :D
So I think that's a pretty big update on things unless you want a list of all the books I've been reading and how super cool and awesome they are which I might do in another post.
And here's a funny video for you guys.
Have fun watching it.
So you think you know Homeschoolers? Think again. and I f you are a homeschooler this should be even funnier. :D :D

Music......

You know that wonderfully inspirational/loud/electronic/instruments type stuff?
Have you ever had when you are cleaning up dinner and you turn up the music really loud and everyone just starts you know "Partying"? Like jumping about and grabbing kitchen utensils for microphones and running round the bench and making up strange new dance moves and yelling along or not without the song. :D
Have you ever had that?
All our family are music lovers even Dad although he only likes the it down low and it has to be soft but some nights (like tonight) we just start dancing and going crazy. One of our newer things we've been doing is putting Tea-Towls on our heads to give ourselves "The 80's look" if you wanna see why we like the 80's watch this:

See what I mean and we have a lot of 80's songs on our I-pod like Eddie and the Cruisers and Bon Jovi and that sort of stuff.
And just because i love these songs:

Ahh, such a beautiful song :D

The actual song on the CD is better because it actually has talking in it which makes it comical which is why we like it a lot. ;)

LOVE Taylor!!!!

and there are some other music videos which I'd love to share except my internet is being stupid. S I'll see you all soon!!
God Bless

Tintin: The movie

I went to see Tintin in 2D this morning at 10:00 am we had gotten some movie ticket vouchers and we all really wanted to see it.
The only people who stayed how were Kynan and Georgie (a friend) who had gone to see War Horse the previous day.
I liked the movie a lot, although it was different from the book up to a point it was great and they did a great job putting 3 stories in one.

After we had seen it Mum said it would have been a great movie to watch in 3D. I agree!!! And the animation was really awesome!!! :D

I really liked Tintin and Captain Haddock :D They were my favourites. Suprise? no.

Tintin was an excellent character, just like in the comics unlike the TV episodes that we own which are cartoon Tintin did talk in a proper accent whereas in the episodes they had him with an American accent which I couldn't stand. No offence anyone from America but, Tintin is European. :P
Captain Haddock was very very FUNNY!!! I was pretty impressed with Andy Serkis performance as a voice actor as I've only ever seen him as Gollum from LOTR and I loved his accent. He had some great lines, just like Tintin and it was great at the end where Captain Haddock gets emotional and instead of shaking hands he hugs Tintin....loved that!! :D

Tintin and Haddock were a great team and Snowy was just soooooo cute!!!!!!
A few of my favourite scenes were when the Thompson's find

Mr. Silk!! Really funny.
When Captain  Haddock starts remembering and he images it while thinking Tintin is Red Rackam. When Tintin is getting the keys off the guy: really funny and how Captain Haddock is telling him all about the guys mainly revolving around "Watch out for this guy..." All the scenes when the Captain is telling his story about Sir. Francis Haddock were cool and I liked the bit when

Tintin and Haddock are on the motorcycle with the awesome chase is really quite breathtaking in my opinion.
A lot of the scenes were funny and good.
Tintin was a very good movie, and I think that I would rate it 9 or 10 stars out of 10. Its a keeper and I think will be a great family favourite for all of our family.
It is perfectly child friendly and it is a even greater time if you have read the Tintin comics for years from being a little kid and so on.
My other favourite comics are Asterix comics and them and Tintin are the best. I wonder if anyone will make an Asterix. That's a good question. :D
